Built for design studios

3 builders send half your year

A CRM for interior designers is only worth having if it gets the proposal out sooner and keeps the referrals coming. Liteo runs every inquiry through one board, with the client, the budget, the proposal, and the referral behind it attached. You see what's live, what's waiting on you, and who sent it.

The problem

3 ways a studio leaks projects

01

The proposal you sent 2 weeks after the consultation

The consultation went beautifully. Then install week ate your evenings, and the write-up slipped to day 12. By then they'd met 2 other designers and gone quiet.

02

The builder who sends you 3 projects a year, written nowhere

Half your work comes from the same few people, and that map lives in your head. Thank-yous go out when you happen to remember. The year a builder quietly stops referring, you find out in your revenue.

03

The inquiry that landed mid-install

A full-home inquiry arrived while you were styling shelves on install day. You saw it, meant to reply, and found it again 9 days later under the supplier emails. Nobody follows up on what they can't see.

01 · Pipeline

A CRM for interior designers shows the whole season at once

Every prospective project sits on one board, in the stage it's actually in. Inquiry, consultation, proposal sent, negotiation, signed. You see the whole season without opening a single thread.

Drag a project forward when it moves. When one sits still, it shows: a warning at 7 days, overdue at 14. Quiet gets a color before it gets expensive.

  • Stage totals so you know what the season is really worth
  • Name the stages after how your studio actually sells
  • Separate boards for design work and furnishings-only, if that's how you run

02 · Proposals

The proposal goes out while the consultation is still fresh

Build the proposal from your saved services. Concept and mood direction, design development by room, furnishings selection, procurement as its own line, install and styling day. Set the rooms and the quantities, and the totals do themselves.

Sent proposals become fixed versions with a client-safe PDF. The no-brass revision goes out as version 2, and the fee history stays on the project. If the 30 days run out quietly, the proposal shows expired on its own.

03 · Referrals

The referral web, finally written down

Your studio runs on referrals, and the web that feeds it lives in your head. Liteo puts it on the record as labeled relationships. The builder who sent the project, the architect on it, the realtor who keeps recommending you, each linked and named.

The rest of the record holds what shapes the work. Budget, rooms, home stage, style notes, and who referred it, in custom fields you define. When Calder Build Co sends their 3rd project this year, that's a fact on a record, not studio folklore.

04 · Follow-ups

The follow-up comes back on its own

Set the follow-up the moment the proposal goes out. It comes back on the day, on the right project, with the fee attached. Overdue turns red and rises to the top, where the Georgian townhouse proposal is sitting now.

Or hand it to a rule. When a deal moves to Proposal sent, Liteo sets the follow-up date and creates a call task due in 4 days. A daily email lists what's due each morning, in your timezone. The quiet week after a proposal stops being quiet.

05 · Inquiries

The inquiry form skips the inbox

Someone finds your portfolio just before midnight and sends the Start a project form. Liteo creates the contact, tags it Website, and assigns an owner. By morning it's a lead waiting in Liteo, not a message in a pile.

The form asks what you'd ask. Scope, timeline, and a few lines about the home. Honeypot and rate limiting keep the spam out, so what lands is real.

Before and after

The inquiry pile, before and after

It's the same projects and the same builders, just somewhere you can finally see them.

Today

  • Inquiries arrive by DM, email, and a text from a past client, and wait in all 3
  • The proposal goes out whenever install week finally lets you breathe
  • Who referred whom lives in your head and nowhere else
  • Follow-ups happen when the client emails you first
  • Budget, rooms, and style notes are scattered across 3 notebooks

With Liteo

  • Every inquiry lands in one Inquiry column, tagged with where it came from
  • Proposals build from saved services and go out while the consultation is fresh
  • Builders, architects, and realtors sit on every record as labeled relationships
  • Follow-up dates come back on the right day, and overdue turns red
  • Custom fields keep budget, rooms, and style notes on the project

Questions

Fair questions, short answers

Is this design or procurement software?
No. There are no mood boards, no FF&E schedules, and no purchase orders here. Liteo handles the client side: inquiries, proposals, follow-ups, and the referral web that fills next season. Your design and procurement tools keep their jobs.
Most of my work comes from 2 builders and a realtor. Why do I need this?
Because that's a concentration worth managing on purpose. Their referrals, their projects, and your thank-yous all live on their record, and follow-ups keep the relationship warm between projects. When a new builder turns up, you'll see whether they actually send work.
Is there a free interior design CRM?
Liteo isn't free. It's $9 per user per month with everything included, and free for 14 days so you can load real projects before deciding. Free CRMs usually cap your contacts or hold a feature back, and you find out which one mid-project.
How long does setup take?
Your first project can be on the board in a few minutes. There's no onboarding wizard to get through. Rename the stages to match how your studio sells whenever you like.
Can my studio assistant work in it too?
Yes. Add them for $9 a month and they see the same board, the same clients, and the same tasks. You decide what each person can change.
My client list lives in a spreadsheet. Can I bring it over?
Import it. Liteo takes a CSV for contacts and businesses, so past clients, builders, and showroom contacts come across without retyping. Your referral web starts with its history already in place.
